2023 Municipal Election Enfield Candidate for Commissioner

The 2023 municipal elections began with one-stop voting last week, where seats on the Enfield Board of Commissioners are up for grabs.

The Town of Enfield Commissioner At-Large seat is up this election, where incumbent Commissioner Tracey Joyner is looking to retain her seat against candidate Vincent D. Nicholson.

Enfield District A incumbent Commissioner Bud A. Whitaker is also seeking reelection for his seat against candidate Angela Williams Harper.

Enfield District B incumbent Kent Holmes is not running for reelection, whereas incoming candidate Michael A. Redic Sr. is listed unopposed for the seat.

Early voting (one-stop voting) began Thursday, and Election Day is Nov. 7.

The Herald sent questions to candidates on Oct. 10, with only Redic responding on Oct. 12. Due to the unresponsiveness of the candidates, the Herald will publish Redic’s responses and welcome the other Enfield candidates’ responses before Election Day.
